The people were pretty nice overall. I worked medsurg, but got floated to tele at least once a week. Patient ratios were 1:6 on medsurg and sometimes 1:8 on tele. Little nurse aid help and little ancillary support. You have to transport patients, draw labs, and doctors were sometimes difficult to get a hold of. Probably would not go back

lots of unnecessary double charting in cerner and centricity QS. Super low budget old school, not enough pumps on the unit and had to do drip rates for antibiotics…. not enough screens to see fetal tracings easily or computers to chart. They cut my contract 3.5 weeks in and tried to recruit me to staff with a sign on bonus. The staff was helpful and nice to travelers but with their protocols/supplies and my experience with my contract being cut (with 2 new travelers starting and apparently they do this often) would not recommend.
