I’ve used this agency twice for two separate assignments. Let me speak first to being hired and actively on assignment with this agency. I’ve always been communicated to clearly what needs to be submitted, where to go and what to get completed. My navigators have been responsive, and always been able to answer my questions. They’ve gone through a few changes in payroll over the last several months, but now use Workday in tandem with their own timekeeping app. As long as you submit your hours and time sheet on time every week, you will be paid on time every week. I find their pay packages competitive and fair to the areas I’ve worked in. Their stipends are maxed in accordance with GSA.gov guidelines. However, in some areas they are far less competitive. It depends on the market at the time. As for finding an assignment - this is all on you. Which is totally cool with me, but maybe not if you’re a new traveller. Depends on your style. However, I have found myself frustrated with some jobs I’ve submitted interest in, in which I meet all their listed requirements, only to be declined to be submitted to the facility because they did not clearly state the requirements for the job, or the job posting simply disappears altogether as if it never existed. I also find pediatric opening frequently in my search criteria which is annoying, as I’ve double checked my filters. If you don’t have an active license in hand for non-compact, you cannot apply. There is no way to bypass it whatsoever.

You are your own recruiter technically so you have to take the initiative and make sure you get your shit in order before applying as well as throughout the entire process.

Got paid on time. Got ahold of whoever I needed to whenever I needed to. Got a run around when I tried to extend. I hate their website and how you can only have one speciality so you miss out on job opportunities because your job profile doesn’t fit which is why I left them.

DO NOT use Nomad!! Out of the 9 weeks I've been on assignment with them, I've gotten paid on time twice!!! They always have some lame excuse as to why. I'm tired of having to chase them down to get paid.

They don’t used recruiters instead call them Navigators. It can take days to get a response from them. I was told and have email confirmed they would pay for online modules then came back and stated they wouldn’t pay. Very dishonest company.
